Emily de Molly August Collection (Part 2 of 2) - Swatch & Review

Part 2 of my swatch and review of the Emily de Molly August Collection. I have broken up the post into 2 parts because of the picture-heavy nature of swatches. This post contains the polishes Right of PassageSubdued Delights, and The Maze and the Hightower.

Part 1 with Ashes From FlamesDancing Through SundayMemories of Midnight, and Positive Contact can be viewed here.

As stated in part 1, I have applied 2 coats of every polish shown here. Basically every EdM polish is opaque in 2 coats because Hayley is a wizard with serious potion skills!

Right Of Passage - A dark purple holo with with subtle green to purple multichrome shimmer and tiny blue iridescent flakes.

I would describe as an overall blurple tone, and the little hint of lime green in the shimmer makes it so interesting. The linear holo in this really pops in direct light - you can see it best in the macro photo, I believe.

I spent a long time in the shower with this on just watching the linear holo line wave back and forth. Anyone else do that with their holos?

Subdued Delights - A lilac (warm) to dark peach (cold) thermal with green to pink shifting shimmer

Probably one of my all-time favourite Emily de Mollys! First of all, it's a close cousin to Looks Can Kill in its cool state, and now with extra thermal oomph! I am a huge fan of how buttery smooth and fast-drying the formula is.

Subdued Delights has a gorgeous lit-from-within glow. It dries matte and it's pictured here with 1 layer of a glossy top coat. I will be reaching for this one again and again!

The Maze And The Hightower - A light blue (warm) to light teal green (cold) thermal with strong pink to gold shifting shimmer, iridescent flakes and silver micro glitters.

Both the warm and cold shades in this polish are beauuuuuutiful and you need this one, right now. I would describe them as periwinkle and turquoise. The shimmer just glows and the flakies and glitters make this one so ethereally stunning. It reminds me of August's Emily de Molly PPU shade. If you loved that one, this is for you!

The Maze and the Hightower is slightly textured after one layer of top coat, so I used 2 layers in these photos. Macro, however, is the polish alone with no top coat.
